BIO-ZINEs Collection
BIO-ZINEs are an independent zine series launched by Textiles Artist and Material Researcher Elle MacMillan as a post-graduation project. The collection aims to connect artists across the creative industries, by inviting readers to explore the world of bio-design through accessible experimentation and a shared commitment to positively impact nature. Each issue is designed to educate and inform readers, by bridging the gap of inaccessible knowledge surrounding biomaterials in design.

Inside, you’ll find everything from natural dye recipes to interviews with 24 inspiring sustainable artists. Alongside the zines, Elle continues to develop her biomaterial library, most recently seaweed bio-yarn, which you can read more about in the latest issue, BIO-BUILT. Find out more about each BIO-ZINE below or by visiting Etsy.

Designed to educate and inform.
